If you live in Denmark and commute to a job in Sweden, you can get medical treatment in both countries. However this does not apply for your family members.
If you want to obtain the right to medical treatment in both countries, you must apply for a special certificate called Certificate of entitlement to healthcare.
Both your employer and the National Agency for Social Insurance are responsible for your sickness benefits depending on the circumstances & duration of sickness.
The Swedish health insurance covers medical treatment for all people in Sweden who are entitled to that treatment. You must, however, pay a small fee.
When getting dental treatment in Sweden, you can receive a subsidy covering the most common treatments if you have the right to Swedish social security.
